About Me
Martin Castro is a newly established Tennis Coach in the Northern Virginia area with over 35 years of tennis experience! Martin was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he first developed a love and passion for the sport at just 6 years old. Martin was a member at the Velez Sarsfield Club where he played competitively against other official Clubs on a National level. Martin was a ranked player and nominee for “Tennis Player of the
Year” for Velez Sarsfield in 2005. In addition to playing competitive tennis in Argentina for many years, Martin is a certified Tennis Coach (through the Argentine Tennis Association (AAT)). He taught tennis for both adults and children in Buenos Aires in both individual and group environments.
Upon moving to the United States in 2016, Martin joined the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) and played in tournaments in Arlington, VA. Martin’s love
for tennis has remained unwavered throughout the years and he is excited to share his passion with others. Martin lives in Fairfax, VA with his wife and two young children. He is hoping that one day one of his kids wins a Grand Slam!
