My name is Maria and I come from Spain. I graduated with a Sport Management degree and a minor in Business from Washburn University, where also was part of the Women´s Tennis Team. I also just finished my MBA with a concentration in Marketing at Saint Leo University, where am a former player as well as former women’s tennis assistant coach.

My tennis career started when I was six years old. My passion, dedication, determination, and love for the sport are the main reasons for all my accomplishments during my tennis career. I was named top 60 in the Women´s Open ranking in Spain. I also was part of two regular season championship teams in 2018 and 2019 and made it to the Sweet 16 in 2021. In 2017, I was part of the D1 Women´s Tennis program at Texas A&M Corpus-Christi. From 2018 to 2021, she played D2, at Washburn University. At Washburn, I hold a career singles record of 51-12 and a doubles record of 37-16. She was named to the All-MIAA first team at No.4 and was ranked 40 in the nation for singles as a sophomore. She also made the All-MIAA first team at No. 3 singles and the second team at no.3 doubles my senior year. Lastly, at Saint Leo, I hold a career single record of 15-2 and a double record of 13-5 helping the team to finish 5 in the nation in 2022.

I am versatile due to being in touch with many coaches and players from all over the world. I want to pass on all my knowledge, skills, and love for the sport.
