About Me
I'm Luke, a Division 1 tennis player who played for Elon University. At my peak I reached a UTR 13 in doubles and singles. I've played tennis 4-6 hours a day since I was 12 years old (11 years). I've always thought of myself as someone who truly understands the game which has always elevated my coaching game as well as my overall game. I've coached my brother throughout his career and various other students over the years. I truly believe I can help others reach the same level I did or in the best case scenario exceed it.
Teaching Style
My teaching specialities include the full package as I have been mastering this game for so long. I specialize in improving weaknesses within one's game while also specifying ways to hide one's weaknesses when there is a lack of confidence in any aspect of the game. Tennis is an extremely mental game so confidence is a massive catalyst for success. Therefore, knowing the ins and outs of tennis so well allows me to teach my students how to self-reflect on what they need to do to be their best on the court. Leading into how I structure my lessons, which is fairly loosely structured. Too much structure in a lesson can be detrimental to certain players as everyone's game is different, so I mainly teach my players how to assess their own game and go from there to see what can be improved or modified.
