About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Lea and I have been playing tennis every since I was 4 years old. I have played and won tournaments around the world as a junior. I am currently on the tennis team at VUU. I started to get into teaching tennis about 4 years ago with an enrichment program called TGA with elementary and middle school students. I have loved teaching ever since. I hope I will be a perfect coach for you!

Teaching Style

I like to teach with an emphasis on the students being proactive and being fully engaged in all the activities. I am very patient and I like to go step by step on every skill so that the student has a good understanding of the skill. If needed, I like to present easier exercises that may be without a racquet or ball if a skill is difficult to understand initially. With lots of encouragement and patience, I know that the student will be successful.
