About Me

Hi, my name is Larry. I am a 35 year member of the USPTA and a Master Professional since 1990. I have taught all levels of play including world ranked players. My students have earned over $400,000 in tennis scholarships since 1979 and my tennis activities have raised over $300,000 for various charities since 1975. I have been ranked in the top 4 nationally in USPTA men's open doubles (1981)and top 15 nationally in USPTA men's 35 & over singles (1988). I am from Hampton, VA and am a 22 year resident of Sedona, AZ. I am married and my son just graduated from the US Air Force Academy with a degree in physics. He played all four years for their tennis team.

Teaching Style

I keep my message simple and don't over teach. I am encouraging but honest in a players assessment of their potential. My best results (from students feedback) are in improving serves and backhands, especially one-handers.
