About Me

I'm Kit, and I'm a passionate tennis coach with a strong background in both playing and teaching. I'm a 4.0 player, and I'm a certified Professional Tennis Instructor through the USPTA. My coaching experience spans various levels and age groups, from working with junior players just starting out to high school varsity teams.

I've coached at several schools, including MacDuffie School and Lancaster Country Day School, where I helped lead the varsity boys tennis teams to significant success, including State tournament appearances and district championships. I've also worked with adult players at the Amy Yee Tennis Center.

My coaching style emphasizes making tennis fun while also pushing players to improve. I believe in learning by doing and incorporating a variety of drills and activities into my lessons. I'm confident I can help players of all levels reach their full potential.

Teaching Style

My teaching style prioritizes active learning and keeping players engaged. I structure my lessons with a focus on dynamic drills and game-like scenarios, constantly moving and keeping heart rates up. This not only improves fitness but also makes learning fun and exciting. I also emphasize proper technique and strategy, but always within the context of dynamic play. I believe that by keeping things moving and engaging, players are more likely to retain information and improve their skills.
