About Me
Hi, my name is Keivon and I am a professionally ranked player and coach. I am 25-years-old and tennis has been a big part of my life for the past 15 years. I grew up playing in Northern California and then moved to Switzerland at the age of 14 to train at the Swiss Tennis Federation and train full time to become a professional. I became one of the best Swiss juniors U18 and played the ITF Junior Tour and reached a career high of 287 in the world. At the age of 17, I made my first ATP points in Cyprus and then continued to climb the rankings until I chose to go the college route in the United States. I played for Wake Forest Univerity in Winstom-Salem, North Carolina for 2 years and was part of the team that made it to #1 in the Division 1 NCAA rankings. I also had the opportunity to compete at the Winston-Salem ATP 250 event hosted by Wake Forest. I then transferred to Indiana, and finished my collegiate tennis career there before returning to the professional circuit. Throughout my career, I reached a career high of 1143 in the ATP singles ranking, 1069 in Doubles, and a 14 UTR ranking. I have also competed against some of the biggest names in tennis such as Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alex De Minaur, Cameron Norrie, and Radu Albot to name a few. I stopped playing professional events at the end of 2019, and shifted my attention towards coaching and helping aspiring juniors reach their full potential. I am still currently professionally ranked and go back and forth with playing tournaments on the ATP tour and coaching.
Teaching Style
With every new student, I use the first lesson or two to analyze what needs to be improved on and then I create a personalized training plan for each player. I can help players learn the basic technique, how to rally, and how to play points for the more advanced players. I prefer working with serious tennis players who have the same passion and aspirations that I had as a player. I work my students hard, and hold them to the highest standards on and off the court. If you are looking for a coach to take you to the next level, you've come to the right place.
