About Me

Kayla was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. Being one of North Carolina’s best tennis players. She has held a #1 state ranking, ranked #20 in the south, & cracking the top #50 in the nation. Kayla made her college debut at Morgan State University. A small division 1 school in Baltimore, Maryland. Helping her team win a championship and becoming female athlete of the year. Coach Kayla has a passion for learning and developing athletes. With that being said, she holds 3 degrees in Sports Administration, Sports Management, & Digital Marketing from Morgan State University, UNC Chapel Hill & Wingate University. She has turn her passion for tennis to becoming a great tennis coach. Coach Kayla has been coaching for 6 years helping and developing local talent in the North Charlotte & Lake Norman areas. With her diverse background and high level play, she is determined to give every student a chance to succeed.

Teaching Style

Depending on the level of player. Each player will be giving the chance to show case their talent. Either you're new to the game or advanced, it is important that as a coach I can see and embrace the talents you already have. From their I will slowly give feedback, before a player ever commits to me to see if the coaching & student relationship is a good fit. My coaching expertise is in:

Can I bring more than one person?

Yes! I often work with groups of families or friends with 2-4 people.

Are there any other fees?

Nope! All fees are already included in the price. (tennis court fees, taxes, etc)

Can you travel to me?

Yes, I can travel up to 0 miles to a tennis court in your area.

Do you offer a trial lesson?

There is a 6 hour minimum commitment, but if you are not happy after the first lesson, I offer a 100% money back guarantee.

Can we speak before the lesson?

I will contact you shortly after signup. You will NOT be charged until we have spoken about your schedule and other important details.
