About Me

Hi, my name is Katarina. Presently serving as the Head Coach at Grand Canyon University. With an impressive track record, I led GCU to a remarkable WAC Championship. My own achievements as a player include reaching the NCAA National Championship Runner-up spot, attaining the NCAA Elite 8, clinching the Big 12 Champions title, and consistently securing a position among the Top 8 Division I teams in the nation. Notably, I was crowned NCAA National Championship MVP and reached the Individual quarterfinals. Recognized as a Singles All-American, I achieved high rankings of 10 in ITA Singles and 17 in doubles. My professional journey also extends to the WTA, with rankings as notable as 830 in singles and 639 in doubles. My multifaceted success as a player and coach reflects a deep passion and dedication to the sport.

Teaching Style

My lessons are structured on being an all-court player. To do so, I will focus on improving clients' each part of the game and combining it together. I believe that tennis is an error game and the big key to being a good tennis player is being consistent and making fewer errors than your opponent.
