About Me
Hi, my name is Julius. My qualifications include being a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional and MTM Certified Tennis Professional. I have been teaching tennis for about 30 years. I am currently the Director of Junior Programs at Silvia Tennis Academy where I give direction and instruction for all junior programs and events, provide instruction for adult tennis programs, league team coaching, private lessons and drill sessions. I also worked as a tennis professional at the Midtown Athletic Club where I was in charge of coordination of junior programs with an instructional emphasis on the Junior Development Pathway for ages 5 to 12. I also ran the Adult Instructional Program for all skill levels. I myself played varsity tennis for Morehouse College from 1988 through 1989.
Teaching Style
I'm definitely one who emphasizes using the most natural and efficient technique possible; just as the world's top touring pros do. I love correcting flawed strokes and introducing students to new tactics. I structure my lessons according to the needs of the individual or group in question. No cookie-cutter approach.

Yes, I can travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court in your area.
