About Me

I'm Mateo, hailing from Colombia, and I proudly represented the FGCU men's tennis team. I earned my degree in Business Management from FGCU in 2019 and completed my Master of Business Administration in 2022. With over 5 years of experience coaching tennis, pickleball, and fitness, I currently hold the role of a Pickleball and Tennis Coach. Additionally, I am the founder and owner of DNA Athletics, my own tennis academy, which is dedicated to fostering excellence in the world of sports.

Currently I am the DNA Athletics tennis director and DNA pickleball director.

Teaching Style

The lesson plan would follow a structured sequence: Commence with a comprehensive warm-up regimen, followed by an in-depth consultation with new clients to elucidate their objectives and expectations. Subsequently, I would customize the practice session to align with their specific goals, providing concise rationales for the chosen drills. Finally, I would furnish them with valuable, actionable tips to facilitate autonomous practice and skill refinement outside of our sessions.
