About Me
Hi, I’m Julian Pittl, a 20-year-old college tennis player from Tyrol, Austria. I started playing at five and have trained almost every day since. Before moving to the U.S., I competed in Austria’s second-division team league (2. Liga) and in regional and national tournaments, which taught me discipline, respect for the game, and how to compete with a clear plan. Alongside my playing career I completed a coaching qualification and have already taught multiple lessons for juniors and adults. My coaching is simple and practical: build solid grips, make clean contact, use balanced footwork, and repeat good patterns until they stick.
I’m available for individual lessons and for hitting sessions if you want a consistent, high-quality ball. I welcome players of all ages and backgrounds and will meet you where you are, set a straightforward plan, and help you improve step by step.
Teaching Style
My lessons includes drills, tactical training, matchplay, hitting exercises. I structure all my lessons in advance but I'm open to adapt to my students preferences.
I tailor each session to the player’s level and goals—whether that’s developing a reliable serve, adding topspin to the forehand, improving backhand control, learning basic volleys, or building rally consistency. A typical practice includes a structured warm-up, focused drills, and controlled point play so new skills are used right away. I also include basic movement and fitness to support efficient strokes and reduce common injuries. My style is positive, patient, and clear; I believe progress comes from small adjustments, steady effort, and simple routines you can take into every match. Because I am actively competing in college tennis, I bring current, match-tested ideas on tactics, shot selection, and staying calm under pressure.
