About Me

Hello! I'm Julia, an avid tennis player with over 13 years of experience. I graduated from University of Cincinnati in 2023 and work as a florist in the greater Cincinnati area. I'm currently competing in a local league and play recreationally with friends and family. My love for tennis stems from my many family members who play tennis- some of my grandparents still play in their 80s! Tennis is a truly a great investment for a lifetime of play. I love to pass down knowledge I have gained from my family and personal instructors over the years as well as what I have learned on my own. There’s nothing better than feeling your skills improve!

Teaching Style

Whether you are a complete beginner or you're more experienced in tennis, I am confident that I can help you advance your skills in a structured and exciting way! I focus on the foundations of perfect form, which will set you up for success. In addition to building technical expertise, each lesson includes stretching, footwork, and building a healthy mentality during games. These exercises in conjunction with rallying help improve reaction time, accuracy, and strength. Most importantly, I'll help you be able to rally and we'll have a great time! Tennis is fun and cathartic, especially when you feel yourself advancing your skill level. We can do that together and excel your proficiency, fitness, and mental game of tennis.
