Hi, my name is Juan Carlos. I am from Columbia in South America. I have a lot of teaching experience thru the years. I moved to the US because my wife got a college basketball scholarship for southwestern Oklahoma University. Throughout the years I have lived in Texas and I was a head teaching pro at the municipal tennis center in Lubbock Texas for 10 years. Due to my daughter getting a basketball scholarship to play from Purdue University we moved to Indianapolis, IN. While in Indiana I opened a tennis and basketball academy. During that time I taught at the Five Seasons CC. At the same time I coached the freshmen and varsity women's tennis teams for Zionsville High School team in Indiana. My daughter moved to Charlotte NC and we decided to move along with her to spend more family time with her. Now I am coaching and teaching at the Lake Norman Tennis Academy in Cornelius, NC. I want to expand my client base outward to mentor other young and older players to reach their full potential.

I like to teach the fundamental techniques. With the expansive knowledge and experience of teaching I have developed my own techniques of teaching that are both easier to understand and to apply. My drills are to develop both technique and movement to make a player more successful on the court.
