About Me

Hello! My name is Josephine Pulver and I currently have 9 years of playing experience and 2 years of coaching experience under my belt.

Aside from being a private tennis coach, I was also an assistant coach for a local high school girls tennis team as well as a children’s tennis summer camp coach.

In addition, I was on the Santa Barbara City College Women’s tennis team for 2 years, where I was also the team captain. During the CCCAA state championships, my doubles partner and I defeated the #6 best doubles team in California, ranking us #5.

Teaching Style

During my lessons, I always preach that consistency is key, and not to focus on the mistakes but to focus on the next ball coming. I always ask my students what their goal is, and structure my lessons around achieving their goal.
