About Me

I have been playing tennis for more than 40 years. I was assistant director of a tennis camp (for two years) when I was only 21 years old. I played in high school but didn't play as much organized tennis after that because I was 'discovered' as an actor when I was 17 and that took up all my time. That didn't stop me from playing against (and often winning) many division 1 and 2 singles players. That is why I got the job at the tennis camp without actually playing in college. I got back into the sport when my son started playing. The pro there and I would play epic matches. We even had spectators. He was the one who first gave me the idea of getting my USPTA certification.

Teaching Style

It depends on the level of the student, but I mostly like to do situational drills rather than specific stroke skills ie: 5 down the line, 5 cross court. I would rather focus on what you can do to get to the net or how do you handle a moon ball. With kids, I focus on fun and stuff to keep their interest.
