About Me
I’m a fun-loving adventurous 23 year old from Cincinnati, Ohio. I love music—playing it and listening, nature, dogs, and tennis!
I’ve been playing tennis as long as I can remember, starting in middle school, playing for St. Xavier High School, and eventually ending my playing career competing for Hope College—Division 3 Tennis in the MIAA.
Besides my 4 years of collegiate experience playing, I’ve taught tennis at Leland Country Club for two summers—giving privates, running group lessons, running tournaments, and hitting with/training players who need a good hitting partner. I’ve taught all ages, ranging from 4 years old to adults.
I spent this past Fall coaching as the Head Varsity Coach for Glen Lake High school’s men’s tennis team. The team went on to win regionals for the first time in over 20 years. We went all the way to state and got 2nd place overall—the first time the school has ever gotten that far in history. I was awarded Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association’s Coach of the Year 2024. It was such an amazing experience.
Teaching Style
Structure my lessons based on what the player would like to work on and their capability. I can help you get a better serve, volleys, ground strokes, mental, strategy, and conditioning. Tennis should be fun, and I try to help the player never forget that as well by having fun while we get better—as a player myself who’s had coaches that burn athletes out and take the fun out of the game.
