About Me
Hi, my name is John and I am a USPTA certified instructor. I started playing tennis at the age of four. My family and I have played our whole lives in Michigan where I became a top ranked junior player. At the age of 17 my tennis background payed off and I was able to get a full ride scholarship to play division 1 college tennis at Michigan State University. At the time I was the number one recruit out of Michigan for my class. In college I had success becoming an All-American, reaching the final 4 at the 2015 NCAA tournament. During my college career I was also able to obtain a professional ranking on the ATP tour as well as other awards. I have been teaching tennis part time throughout my life and have worked at multiple clubs around Michigan. I work with player of all ages and abilities and will help improve any game. I like to implement fun into my lessons with quality so that the experience is rewarding and worthwhile.
Teaching Style
I start by getting to know the player and their game. Then I try to tweak what mistake they have and improve on what they already know.
