About Me
My name is Joao and I am from Brazil! I started playing when I was 8, I have played more than 500 tournaments in several countries so far in my career. I came to USA when I was 17 to play college tennis at UTSA and recently graduated with my Bachelors. I have had several different coaches in my life and have learned a lot of things that got me where I am today as a tennis player as well as establishing my teaching style as a coach. I am committed to helping my students achieve their goals no matter the age or level. Although tennis can be fun, I have high expectations from my students and continue to push them to the next level.
Teaching Style
I structure my lessons depending on what the student aims to achieve from learning to play tennis for fun to getting to a high performance level. Every student learns differently which makes me adjust my teaching style from person to person.
