About Me

Hello my name is Jigar and I still remember the first time I played tennis back when I was a teenager. Since then, my love for tennis has grown and I enjoy sharing that passion with everyone at the courts. My most recent experience has been working as a part time coach in Los Angeles, CA where I worked with kids (as young as 6), youth and adults at the beginner to intermediate levels. I have worked with groups (as large as 10 people) to individual lessons where I focus on developing the fundamentals. I truly enjoy the game including watching all the majors and even attending the Indian Wells earlier this year.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is to listen and observe the player first, talk to them and really try to understand their goals. Then I can tailor my lessons to their objectives. The lessons plans will include a focus on the fundamentals, especially footwork, but I also include competitive game play to give them a real sense of tennis.
