About Me
Hi, my name is Jesse. I consider myself a highly motivated, fun-loving person, who embodies the "growth mindset". As a teacher during the school year, I am determined to get my students (middle and high school) to produce to their best potential, based on their individual abilities. As a tennis professional, I have coached students who went on to play collegiate, and some who still play recreationally. My goal is to find your interests, shape your goals and push you as far beyond those as possible - all while having as much fun as possible. I am a firm believer in the phrase, "hard work pays off". Throughout my high school/collegiate tennis career I was able to improve my game, not because of any immense talent, but because of hard work and an understanding that we can always get better. I look forward to using my skills and experience to help others reach their potential.
Teaching Style
My lessons are structured around the individual players themselves. For most, I will typically run a diagnostics, in which the player will practice taking different shots at all angles of the court. Doing this allows for me to gauge their ability. From there, I curate a tennis curriculum that suits the player's specific game - one rigorous, and fun enough to push growth in both strong areas, and weaknesses.
