About Me
Hello my name is Jenar (nickname JP) and I've been playing tennis for most of my life! Started coaching right out of high school and absolutely fell in love with it. Coaching is an incredible passion of mine, and I've only gotten more obsessed with all of the details and fundamentals of the game and how to improve not only for myself but how to translate the knowledge that I've built up over the years to all of my students, of which I have plenty, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. Coached for almost a decade now at this point and I'm only currently mid 20's as of writing this. I'm mostly a technical coach, most of my coaching consists of the smallest details of technique and body mechanics, but I mix in a lot of mental coaching to round it all together. Not what anyone would consider a strict coach, but that doesn't mean I don't push and encourage my students to become the best players and people that they can possibly be.
Teaching Style
I'm very technical as a coach so I focus on technique and strategy, but I always like to sprinkle in mental coaching with my students if they need it. I'm very much a player's coach so whoever my student is, I like to see what their goals are, what they need, and how we can get them to reach and fulfill those goals and standards they want to set for themselves.
