About Me

Hello, I’m Coach Jeff. I am a full time pastor in Port Angeles, WA, but enjoy teaching tennis on the side, when the weather is nice. I have been teaching tennis part-time for 5 years in California and I have been playing tennis for over 20 years. I got started teaching by having some close friends and youth at my church interested in learning to play. I began teaching them and found I loved passing on the skills I learned over the years. From there, it just spread by word of mouth, and it became a part -time gig, while I was making my way through school.

I recently moved up here to Port Angeles from California, to take a call to be a pastor. While living here, I have seen there are not many coaching options available on the Peninsula, especially for children and youth, so I decided to get back into coaching on the side.

Teaching Style

In the past, I have worked predominately with children and youth, ranging in skills from beginner to advanced. However I am also accepting adults who are looking to learn and grow in their skills.

I am currently pursuing Instructor Certification through the USPTA. I am also Safe Paly Approved. I also offer racket re-stringing, and I am currently in the process of being certified as a Master Racket Technician through the USRSA
Start with a foundation and basics and build a love for the game.
