About Me

My name is Jason and I am a Certified PTR Instructor. I am originally from New Jersey and moved down to South Carolina last year. I played collegiately at Lynchburg College where I was a four year starter and captain for two years. From there I coached collegiately at my alma mater before moving back home to New Jersey where I worked at Toms River Country Club for 9 years. I was also an elementary health and physical education teacher for 16 years. I have played tennis since I was 14 and have an unmatched passion for the sport.

Teaching Style

I stress patience and simplicity to help break down something that may need improvement and focus on one aspect of a stroke at a time in order to ensure success. I start with a nice warmup and from there get a feel for what needs to be improved upon and go from there. My lessons can include dead ball drills (hand tossing), live ball drills, and then even scenarios that help reiterate what was covered that day.
