About Me

My name is Jalen Keller and I grew up on the tennis court! I come from a family line of D1 tennis players and coaches who taught me that tennis can be a vehicle for personal development and self-confidence. I loved the thriving tennis community in Las Vegas, where I grew up, even if the summers involved playing in 115°F heat!

As a tennis coach and summer camp counselor at the Tournament Players Club in Las Vegas, I taught large clinics, occasionally managing up to 50 young children! I have also taught private lessons, and always work hard to make lessons fun and productive- no matter how hot the court gets in the summer!
I'm now located in Provo, Utah and I'm offering private lessons and clinics for kids, teens, and adults in Utah county!! I provide equipment (although it's best to get a racket that fits you specifically haha) and I will travel to courts near you!!

Teaching Style

I have lots of experience coaching young and beginning players! When I begin a lesson to a less-experienced player, I usually spend the first half working on technique- which is crucial in tennis- through various drills. Then, we might practice skills like movement, timing, and reaction with some back-and forth rallies and games.

I have also taught private lessons to more intermediate players where we work on different strokes, net game, serves, and reacting to different shots like slices and lobs. However, it's never a waste of time to go back to the basics and drill our ground strokes, improving our consistency and turning that good technique into muscle memory.
