About Me
Hi! I am Jake! I have been playing tennis for 15 years and am teaching to spread the love of the game! I have been involved in tennis since I was little and from being a state-ranked player in Wisconsin to being the captain of my high school team, tennis has taught me so much. In lessons, I enjoy ensuring everyone gets a workout in as well as a lesson. I like to play out points and work on movement on court to get everyone some cardio! I also tend to obsess over small mechanical changes that tend to pay great dividends in both my personal game and in the games of my clients. I look forward to seeing you at a lesson!
Teaching Style
I like to involve point play very heavily within my lessons. I specialize in teaching purposeful movement on a court and tennis IQ. I find lessons that are mostly talking to be tedious for both parties and I find that lessons tend to go far better when the practical application of the teaching is shown. I enjoy teaching volleying, serving and groundstroke angle and positioning.
