Hi, my name is Jackie. I am an experienced player who has committed my life to tennis. I have competed my entire life. However, my last tournament entry was 10+yrs ago in a pre-qualifying Pro Challenger event in San Diego, CA. Three years ago I changed my focus and started teaching. In 2013-2014 I created a multi level tennis program for all ages from 5-10 children to teen youth to adults to seniors 65+ through the San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department in California. I currently teach Quick Start tennis Through Fit Kids of America in San Diego Ca. which means I travel to various elementary schools and set up a court and teach a 1 hour class at each school for the session . I also have one 10 year old student I have taught for 3 years and he is beginning to compete in tournaments in San Diego. My interest now is to help beginner students to develop a quality game based on strong fundamentals. It is important to note I teach the classic style closed stance. I will not teach open stance to any of my prospective students, and I am interested in students who are willing to commit to learning tennis for at least two months to determine if they can engage proper stroke production and receive enjoyment from tennis.
