About Me
Hello! My name is Izzy and I am a pre-med student athlete at Emory University! I live in Villanova and attended The Baldwin School for high school. I've reached #1 in my section (middle states) as a junior and top 50 in the nation for doubles! As a rookie at Emory University I achieved Second Team UAA all honors in Doubles, and my team reached the semis of the official NCAA tournament.
Teaching Style
I personally love teaching and working on serves as it is one of my strengths on court. However, I can do anything from hand feeding, games, or even tough live ball drills! I have experience as a red ball and orange ball coach as I spent my whole 2022 summer coaching tennis camp at my academy HPTA. I have also hit with various juniors of all tournament levels. I typically start off my lessons with a good warm up, then go into drilling to focus on aspects of their game they're struggling with. I like live ball the most, as I feel it's the most effective method in creating a match-like environment, however if rallying is not a possibility, I lean towards hand feeding. I usually end intermediate lessons with point play - crucial to making sure the lesson's main ideas translate to matches.
