About Me
Hi! My name is Indy. I am from Lubbock, TX and I grew up playing tennis for as long as I can remember. My dad is a high school tennis coach, and I have learned from him as well as several other high-level coaches during my life. In high school, I reached the UIL Texas 5A State Championships twice in doubles and earned the bronze medal both years. In college, I played recreational tennis at Dallas Baptist University. Throughout my high school and college careers, I have given tennis lessons to beginner and intermediate players, and I hope to continue growing the tennis community to new heights!
Teaching Style
My specialty is ball control and point structuring. Power is useful within tennis, but I have always been someone who can put the ball where I want it, which has led to success. Tennis is a highly technical sport, so I want to prepare people to be great by helping them place the ball and attack weaknesses in the opponent. This means we start by focusing on controlling the ball with all the different strokes, then we move to ball placement, and then we move to power.
