About Me
Hello, my name is Guilherme. I am from Brazil and have been playing tennis for more than 10 years. In Brazil I played a lot of state championships and national tournaments, and my best ranking was fifth in my state. I played some international junior tournaments like Banana Bowl and Gerdau Cup. My dream was come to the United States, study at a American school and also play tennis with a good scholarship. I attended Jacksonville State University my freshman year and then I transferred to University of Mobile, where I am starting my junior year. I have experience teaching tennis the last two summers at summer camps in the United States ( first year at Camp Winaukee and second year at Camp Lindenmere). I also taught tennis for half a year in Brazil. I enjoy teaching players of all ages and skill levels.
Teaching Style
Typical lesson structure would be 30 min of rhythm and technical work on ground strokes (trying to make long, quality of rallies), some volleys, and serves and return of serve. We always finish with some point play.
