About Me
I have been active in the tennis community for three and a half years. I play as the number one on my high school tennis team and have played in regional and state events. I have also competed in tennis tournaments locally and throughout the state. As a leader on my high school team, I mentor newer players both in practice and independently. I recognize that a sport like tennis can be a great confidence builder and enjoy working with other people as they build their skills.
Teaching Style
Beginners will focus on form, grip placements, foot work, scoring, and rules of the game. Lessons include a series of drills for skill acquisition, followed by mini games (king/ queen of the court, around the world, tennis juggling, and serve target practice game).
Intermediate lessons start with an assessment of the players strengths and growth areas. We will work on growth areas, mastering form, advancing footwork work skills, and elements of strategic game play.
