About Me
Hello, I started playing in high school where I fell in love with the sport. After high school I went on and got my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology concentration in Exercise Science. I've began coaching as an assistant at my old high school, eventually became the head coach where I realized I enjoyed coaching. I expanded the program at my high school and had plenty of success teaching students. I look forward to working with new or experienced players. Thank you.
Teaching Style
My teaching style focuses on creating a balance between technical skill development and mental toughness. I specialize in breaking down fundamental strokes (forehands, backhands, serves) with a focus on proper grip, footwork, and consistency. I emphasize the importance of developing a strong rally game and understanding court positioning, as well as the mental aspect of tennis, such as staying focused and managing pressure.
Lessons are structured to start with a warm-up, followed by drills targeting specific skills (footwork, serves, groundstrokes), and then transition into match play or situational drills to apply those skills under pressure. I also incorporate video analysis when needed to help students visualize their technique and progress.
