About Me
Tennis has been my primary passion for almost as long as I've been playing it. I began teaching at summer camp during high school while I was captain of my high school varsity team. In college I was president of our club tennis team, and since graduating I have been the coach of the Northcoast Preparatory Academy boys and girls varsity teams, in addition to doing some private coaching. My coaching focus is on building strong technical foundations so that players can have a long-term solid base on which to build their game. I'm lucky to share the court with people of almost every age bracket and walk of life, and I aim to foster a lifelong passion for the game in those I coach.
Teaching Style
I have a relaxed coaching style in which I ask players to reflect upon what their own goals are for the sport, both broad and specific, and I create a lesson plan tailored to help bring them towards those personal goals.
