About Me
Hi! My name is Frances Roberts, and I am currently a senior at the University of Utah. I have played tennis my entire life, and grew up playing tournaments every weekend. I love tennis, and I am excited to teach you how amazing and fun this sport is. I have experience teaching private lessons and children only, but I am ready to expand my horizons! I have a lot of experience in both doubles and singles, as well as a lot of tournament experience, and can tailor my lessons depending on what the student wants and needs.
Teaching Style
I begin with a warm up and stretching, then usually start a hitting warm up on the service line. My emphasis and structure of lessons would change depending on the student and if it is a group session. The main part of the lesson would be hitting drills, and depending on what the students needs to work on, whether it's volleys, serves, overheads etc.., is what I would work on next. Footwork drills would also be incorporated. If my student was of a younger age, I would end with a fun game or two.
