Hello! My name is Djelli and I am a current first year medical student.

I am a current USTA 4.5 rated tennis player. I have been playing tennis for ~15 years and coaching for 5 years. I never had the chance to develop an extensive junior career, but I had the pleasure of competing in the doubles 3A state tournament in my high school career and earning a D3 scholarship to George Fox University in Oregon. I am a double dawg (obtained my undergraduate degree and working towards my medical degree at the University of Washington) and continue to be an avid player in USTA team tennis in the Seattle area.

I fell in love with playing tennis because it challenges me both mentally and physically. Tennis is the hardest sport to learn because you have to learn a great amount of technical development in order to learn strokes while being mentally tenacious. This makes tennis a very rewarding sport when you are playing well but a frustrating sport if you are not succeeding. For this reason, it's the journey to becoming a great tennis player that is the ultimate ride of a lifetime- and why I have developed an incredible passion for this game.

I am able to work with any age or skill level to accomplish desired goals. Whether you are a beginner and want to learn tennis to play with your friends, or you're an advanced player looking to compete in tournaments for ranking, I can work with you to accomplish your specific goals. I place heavy emphasis on proper technique regardless of skill level.
