About Me
Hello my name is Devonte Thomas I am a tennis coach from Jackson Ms. I was ranked in the top 15 of the State of Mississippi from 16-18 after starting tennis at 15. I played all four years of college tennis on a full scholarship and I was one win away from being an All American three out of four years. I went on to play professional tennis from 2017 to 2021. Afterwards I coached Division 1 college tennis and for the last two and a half years I have been here in the DFW area coaching tennis to players of all ages and levels.
Teaching Style
I specialize in developing weapons and patterns through drills that will push you to use your strengths. I also create comfortable practice atmospheres that invites room for error so that I am able to make corrections. I also video matches and practices to breakdown film. I’m a hitting partner as well so I’m more than able to play with any level player.
