About Me

Hi, my name is David. I'm a USPTA Elite Professional and reside in St Petersburg Florida. I'm also a USTA certified High Performance Coach and currently work for the Seminole Lake Tennis Center in Seminole Florida. My past employment includes the following: Director of Tennis and Athletics for the Pelican Sound Golf & River Club, Director of Tennis Operations for the Seminole Lake Tennis Center, Director of Tennis for the Pelican Bay Park Community Tennis Center in Naples Fl, Director of Tennis for the Tarpon Cove Yacht and Racquet Club in Naples FL and the Pro/Co-Owner for 24 years at the West Indy Racquet Club, Indianapolis, IN. I also owned and directed the Pointe Tough Tennis Academy in Indianapolis for 13 years. I have traveled extensively as a junior coach and as a players' coach on the ATP Tour. I'm also a member of the United States Racquet Stringers Association and the USTA.

Teaching Style

I emphasis technique for beginners up to intermediate players, stroke analysis and footwork. I also teach tactics & strategy for advanced intermediate and advanced players. I explain how to play doubles including strategy, tactics, positioning and the return game.
