About Me

My name is Daniel Long.,6.0 player & coach. I attended Howard University on an athletic scholarship for tennis. Playing D1 level tennis was an amazing moment in my life. Coming from the Washington DC area it was an honor to play for my home team from 2012 - 2014. I have been playing tennis since the age of 7.
I trained at the JTCC Regional Center in College Park, Maryland, & Watkins Pk tennis center , Lake Arbor Maryland thru out my grade school career. At the age of 12 of was nationally ranked number three in Washington DC. Which lead me to an opportunity to play several USTA ranked nationally and regionally singles and doubles tournaments. Instead of going directly to college I attended at IMG in Florida for 6 months.
After college I began coaching kids at TGA première Tennis of North Bethesda, which was licensed thru several elementary & junior high schools. I have an abundance of experience working not only with children ranging from the age of 4 through to adults 60+
