About Me
I’ve been playing tennis since I was five. It’s what has kept me in shape, that along with being a fitness trainer. In addition to tennis I also played football, ran track, and many other sports. Currently I’m a scratch golfer. I’ve taught tennis for over 30 years. In that time I’ve taught former pro and college tennis players and all levels below. Presently I am teaching/coaching a future ATP hopeful.
Teaching Style
I am a technical coach, but I also understand that if something is not broken….. don’t fix it. A lesson will always start with a warm-up and a conversation as to what the student would like to work on and how we will structure the rest of our time. Depending on the level of the student, the lesson can go from a hand feed, to a racket feed, to live ball and end with working on serves. A lesson can also involve playing points and working on strategy. There are four types of tennis players. Which one are you?
