About Me
I started playing tennis in the 8th grade and ended up playing in college and teaching through my early 20s. I took some time off from playing and teaching to start my marketing and communications company. I am now back to playing and teaching. I have coached college and high school tennis and have taught private and group lessons for adults and children. While not working and raising a family, I am coaching youth soccer, have coached mountain biking, am on the CHS wrestling board and volunteer at VFNP. I have all my clearances as I am also a substitute teacher.
Teaching Style
My teaching style very much depends on the student(s). But overall, lessons begin with warm-ups, then technique/drills, a game, and then playing depending on the skill of the student(s). Though this is highly variable depending on the goals of those in the lesson.
