About Me
I have an A.A. from Richmond Community College and a B.A. in sociology from Pembroke State. I was on the last UNC-Pembroke men's tennis team in 1991-1992. I have been involved with tennis for more than 30 years and have taught for 20 of those.
Teaching Style
Tennis is not just a game, it's a way of learning about life. I try and not favor one particular type of stroke; rather, I try to work on the student becoming a complete player. Everyone has a particular learning style -- it just takes time, patience and communication -- what works for one, may/may not work for another -- The way I teach tennis is that once you've had lessons with me you can pretty much go into teaching it yourself.
