About Me

I am currently a senior at Butler University, where I am pursuing a marketing degree. My journey in the sport of tennis began at a very young age. I attended North Central High School, where I honed my skills on the court obtaining one state championship, and two runner ups. Throughout my teenage years, I competed at a high level, reaching the top ten in the state of Indiana. My experiences in both high school and college (only one year) tennis have shaped my understanding of the game, allowing me to bring a competitive edge to my coaching.

For the past five years, I’ve been teaching tennis, and with every lesson or clinic I lead, I’ve worked hard to improve my coaching techniques. My goal is to help players of all ages and skill levels feel confident and comfortable on the court. By simplifying the game, I focus on helping my students grow steadily, one step at a time. Whether you're just starting out or looking to fine-tune your game, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep love for tennis that I hope to share with each of my students.

Teaching Style

Tennis can feel complicated, so I break it down into easy steps to help players improve without getting overwhelmed. My goal is to give you practical tips that are easy to remember and apply, whether you’re a beginner or someone with more experience.

Instead of overloading you with too many details, I focus on one or two key aspects at a time. For example, we might work on your footwork or how to improve your grip, with short, actionable advice you can use right away. My teaching style is all about helping you feel more confident on the court, so I keep things as straightforward as possible.

The goal is growth at a comfortable pace. You'll build a solid foundation through repetition and small adjustments that lead to big improvements. By focusing on simple techniques, you'll find it easier to enjoy the game and progress naturally.
