About Me
Why pick me?
- over a decade of playing experience
- you aren’t hiring a hitting partner you are hiring a coach, I do not believe in going out and feeding balls for an hour and taking money from you, I aim to help you develop and work on what you’d like to improve as well as what I believe you should improve.
- I’ve taught all ages and I have seen first hand that no matter how old or young you are we can always improve, not even necessarily just at tennis but athletically as well
- As a former collegiate athlete and multi sport athlete I have an appreciation for different athletic movements and fine tuning the body. I also understand everybody is different and requires different development whether it be speed, balance, coordination, strength, etc.
- I have a passion for helping people get better, when I see my students make improvements it brings me joy and I want to help everyone improve each time the step on the court complacency is the enemy I do not want to be a stagnant coach
I have coached at multiple great organizations and have taken on many different roles and responsibilities at both
I am currently USPTR certified and working towards a USPTA as well as NASM personal training certification.
Teaching Style
I typically use the Hour glass structure. I’ll have students do a physical warmup/ mild conditioning/ change of direction work first. I will then do some footwork drills, if you can’t get to the ball you cannot hit the ball. We will then go into structured drills followed by games that work specifically on what we’re working on in the drills.
