About Me

Hi, my name is Bill. I have played competitive tennis for 38 years. I have played ALTA and USTA for 28 years. I have taught all ages and varying skill levels. I teach the basic foundation of the game, but I don't just drill. I like to focus on using your brain, court positioning and strategy. I play singles and doubles. Most people don't know where to be, or how to dominate the net. That is my main focus. Volleying techniques and getting to the net is what I am all about.

Teaching Style

I don't like to just run around and drill. I want you to learn where to be on the court. I will teach you how to set up points and play smarter. I will show you proper techniques, especially footwork and volleying skills. Timing and anticipation is also a huge focus in my lessons. One of my specialties is to take four people, have them play a doubles match, and in between points, show them where they should have been, or what shot choice they should have made and why.
