About Me
I am Benjamin and I am a sophomore at the University of Georgia. I am a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Major with a minor in Spanish. I have aspirations of being a doctor but in the meantime I love to teach tennis. I started playing tennis when I was 7 years old and have played consistently since. My whole family plays tennis so it was a big part of my life growing up. I am on the UGA Club Tennis Team where we travel to other states playing in tournaments against other Universities. I have a diverse tennis coaching experience. I have coached for young kids, juniors who played fro my high school, and adults. All of them are between beginners and intermediate skill levels. I am looking forward to coaching you!
Teaching Style
I always start with stretching and a warm up to get the body moving before we do anything related to technique. After that I structure the lesson based off what my client wants/needs to work on. If they have something specific we can focus on that but if not I will hit with them choose what I think we should focus on. I like to do drills that can isolate a specific technique/form that I think my client will benefit from and then end the lesson with a more fun drill that works on whatever skill we were practicing. I don't specialize in anything specific and I am more than happy to help with anything.
