About Me
I’m a former collegiate tennis player at Case Western Reserve University, where I competed in both singles and doubles on the varsity lineup. Before college, I was a nationally ranked junior player, regularly competing in USTA national tournaments and the UTR ITA Summer Circuit. With years of high-level match experience and a deep understanding of the game, I bring a competitive edge, strong fundamentals, and a player-focused approach to coaching. I trained alongside top-level junior players at highly competitive academies, and I bring many of the high-quality drills, techniques, and structured practice methods from those environments into my coaching sessions.
Teaching Style
My teaching style adapts to the needs and goals of each player. Whether you're a beginner aiming to quickly build solid fundamentals or an intermediate/advanced player seeking technical refinements, high-intensity drills, strategic development, or focused hitting sessions, I work to simplify your game and make improvement feel achievable.
I place strong emphasis on clean, repeatable stroke mechanic (especially in serve technique and topspin groundstrokes) and I like incorporating backhand slices and net play to help players become more versatile and confident in finishing points. Lessons are structured to combine technical feedback with live hitting and point-based drills.
