About Me
I was an aspiring tennis professional up until I was 23 years old when I started suffering from ocular and other neurological issues. I have deep sympathy for others who have struggled and may see tennis as an escape and therapy, as it was for me. I also have tremendous passion for improving others and watching them reach their goals. I’m extremely gentle on beginners, but straightforward! I want to see them make progress. I’m generally a laid-back guy and enjoy my place in the sports world.
Teaching Style
As a self-taught tennis coach, I focus on maximizing each player's unique strengths rather than sticking to a one-size-fits-all approach. I encourage a positive mindset, ensuring my students aren't too hard on themselves. With experience playing at Hunter College and a lifetime of coaching, I bring a personalized touch to help players grow. My goal is to help you refine your game, stay motivated, and most importantly, enjoy the process.
