About Me
My name is Alexandra. I grew up in Toronto, Canada and split my time between New York and Toronto. I have been teaching tennis for 20 years with students ranging from 5 - 55. My passion is teaching beginners right from the start. I have run a number of summer kids camp programs at tennis clubs and summer sleep-away camps. I was a junior and college level competitive player. And, I enjoy working with all levels and ages! I love how tennis is a universal language and you can travel the world and play with anyone no matter their native language.
Teaching Style
Depending on student levels, my technique varies from tossing/hitting. I like to take a few minutes while warming up to assess skill levels; talk about your goals, and what you would like to accomplish. Once we discuss what you’d like to focus on, I will incorporate a variety of games, exercises and drills to help focus on specific skill development. We can also discuss what you can do on your own time to practice and improve on and off the court (if you want). I always like to leave time at the end to cool down, clean up and discuss what we worked on, what we can cover next and hear how the lesson went from your side.

Nope! All fees are already included in the price. (tennis court fees, taxes, etc)
Yes, I can travel up to 20 miles to a tennis court in your area.
There is a 6 hour minimum commitment, but if you are not happy after the first lesson, I offer a 100% money back guarantee.
