Originally from New Jersey, I am a former Division I, scholarship recipient tennis player. I have been inducted into Collingswood's High School Hall of Fame for tennis and was chosen as their College Player of the Year and was elected to Lafayette College's Women's Tennis 25th Anniversary Team. Most importantly, I have loved playing tennis from a young age and have discovered how to help my students (and myself) achiever their goals on and off the court. Having moved to Florida over twenty years ago, I am so fortunate to be able to play tennis in the Florida sunshine all year. Having raised a college-age daughter who will become a proud UF gator in the Fall, I am excited to have more time to coach my students and devote to this sport which is really a sport for a lifetime.

The basis for all of my teaching is proper technique - some say tennis begins with "love;" I say it begins with technique. However, I disguise the emphasis on technique through my relatable manner always putting myself in a student's "shoes." I make hitting a great forehand or a punch volley seem fun and easy. My lessons involve a quick warm-up and instruction followed by game-play. I can craft a lesson or drill to meet a student's goals. Many high school students, like my daughter, need match play experience and feedback more than drilling at times. Most importantly, I give 100 percent 100 percent of the time.
