About Me
Hi, I'm Alex! I am a college graduate from Clemson University and have played tennis for over 11 years. I played competitively throughout high school and was on the club tennis team at Clemson. I've got 3 years of teaching experience with all age groups ranging 9 years old to 60. Also, I am open to teaching all levels, from complete beginner to a more advanced player. I have a huge passion for teaching and hold a love for the game, so I hope I can get to know some more of you soon!
Teaching Style
My teaching specialties are being patient with the player and allowing them to ask questions when needed. I emphasize and prioritize the players experience over mine and adjust the lesson to make sure they are getting the most out of it. For first lessons, I will always assess the player and see different aspects of their game that might need improvement, but also ask them if they have anything in specific that they want to work on. For lessons after, I plan out different drills that are fun and engaging while also prioritizing improvement and listening to the player.
